Odell’s St Lupulin Extra Pale Ale is Beer of the Week

St Lupulin Extra Pale

Odell’s St Lupulin Extra Pale Ale is Beer of the Week!

This is another great offering from Odell Brewing Co., and we have it on draft as our Beer of the Week this week at R!

“A mystical legend echoes in our brew house—that of St. Lupulin (loop-you-lin), the archetypal hophead. He devoted endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and the beloved resin within—lupulin. Extraordinary oils in this yellow resin provide this dry-hopped extra pale ale with an undeniably pleasing floral aroma and clean, crisp finish. One sip of this seasonal summer ale and you too will believe.”

“Pours a gorgeous sunburst yellow orange with a gentle hazing and a fluffy finger of slight off-white foam. Fresh cut grass, biscuits, and subtle lemon. Grassy and resinous hop flavor up front followed by a crackery sweet malt character. Light-bodied, medium carbonation, balanced, slightly dry finish. Overall, a nicely balanced ale and quite drinkable!”

St Lupulin Extra Pale Ale

“The taste is a very dry malt bed with a sharp peppery hop flavor that is bitter but not too bitter. the dry and bitter come together quite well. The mouthfeel is rich and just right for this style. Overall this is an exceptional ale and very enjoyable. “
